Achilles 9 metre fin keel cruiser/racer (1981) 15hp Yanmar diesel, epoxy treated, new rigging, sails & boom '95-'97, GPS, autopilot, Navtex, She has a recent survey and as a result of this the owner has paid in excess of £5000 to have improvements recommended carried out by Firmhelm. The keel has been off the renew the keel bolts and to tidy up/ reseal the hull/ keel joint, the keel and rudder have been stripped back and re-antifouled together with the hull. The seacocks have been serviced/ renewed as necessary. The standing rigging has been renewed (wires and bottlescrews). Lying ashore Pwllheli

Self-activating fire extinguisher in engine compartment. 15 gallon fuel tank (approximately 67 litres) in a mild steel tank (removed, serviced and new tap fitted 1995), 105 Ah service battery (new 2002), 85 Ah engine battery (new 2000), charged from alternator via Hella microprocessor-controlled management system and blocking diodes. Mains power supply to single socket in saloon, also socket in the galley and above the chart table. |
